About Us

We are a family-owned business based out of Circleville, Ohio that began as a shuttle/spotting company in January 2007. In 2013, Jeff Lanman (one of the owners) decided to expand the company into over the road trucking as a way to bring his 20 years of experience to the table. It started with one truck and began to grow into something much more. In 2014, Jeff brought on his daughter, Tory, to help build the business. Michele Lanman joined her family in July of 2017 to help and grow the business they all took pride in. Keeping it in the family, Jeff hired the family’s cousin, Lisa, to join the BuckSpot environment. By now, BuckSpot had grown to the double-digits in number of trucks, reliable drivers, and trailers as well.

BuckSpot began with a man wanting to apply his passion and experience and grew into a family operation where everyone works together to provide for local communities however we can. We pride ourselves on treating all employees as though they are a Lanman, too, and want nothing more than to help build lives up in any way possible. BuckSpot is more than a company, it’s a family (quite literally).
